February, 22 2024 – The release of its latest AuthentiScan Middleware: v2.5.1.

This updated middleware works seamlessly with AHR and Desko document reader technologies manufactured in 2014 or later, and with Desko Generation 4.3 or later.
Please take note that for ARH readers, a valid OCR engine license is necessary to utilize this 2.5.1 release of the middleware. If you are the owner of ARH readers manufactured before 2014, we kindly recommend considering an upgrade to a newer model.
This latest middleware release fixes a few issues experienced with the v2.0.6 middleware, including image capture optimisation, RFID behaviour and the handling of UV checks on documents. It also decouples the middleware from the device driver components which are available but installed separately.
Included with the v2.5.1 middleware is an installer procedure that determines whether your reader has a valid licence. If this licence is not automatically available from the Keesing Licence Manager service, then you should contact Keesing Technical Helpdesk to obtain this.
