Document Highlight: Greek ID Card [Infographic]
Let’s highlight Greece’s national ID card. Issued in September 2023, this biometric ID card is an important step towards greater security for citizens and the country. The new card is valid for ten years, as the previously issued cards will only be valid until 2026. After that, every citizen will need to possess the new ID.

These standards govern the creation of more secure and internationally recognised identification documents, as mentioned by the Keesing Platform article about the latest Greek ID.
