We are looking for an ambitious Junior Financial Controller to provide support to our financial department by managing daily accountant tasks.
You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.
The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help the company make the right decisions and accomplish long term success.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts receivable, subscription administration and issue invoices;
- Accounts payable, entering invoices and process batch payments;
- Ledger reconciliations, weekly- and monthly reports;
- Involved with payroll-, pension-, insurance- and tax matters;
- Assist with budget/forecast preparation and other accounting projects;
- Update financial data in ERP system in a timely and accurate manner;
- Secure financial processes and internal control
- Validation of Keesing’s data warehouse.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and or Economics;
- Excellent knowledge of MS office applications
- Strong knowledge of accounting and reporting principles;
- Excellent organizing abilities;
- Strong financial and analytical acumen;
- Proven experience in an accounting role;
- Great attention to detail;
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Navision and/or Business Central
- In-depth knowledge of Power BI;
- Experience working in a midsize company
