The newly designed passport, features “Taiwan” prominently on the cover. The new passport cover reduced the font size of “Republic of China” (中華民國) and integrated it in the national emblem while enlarging the word “Taiwan” and placing it directly above the word “passport”. This 2021 series passport of Taiwan has a well-secured biographical datapage. All personal and passport details are protected by a holographic laminate that incorporates a surface relief, nanotext as well as a zero order reflective device. An OVI and a see-through register are printed as background security for the biopage.
