[INFOGRAPHIC] New in Keesing Documentchecker: Malta’s 2020 Residence Permit
The new 2020 series Malta residence permit is a highly secured ID document that is in compliance with EU regulation 2017/1954 (a uniform format for residence permits for third-country nationals). It contains multiple-colour UV at both sides and is personalised by laser engraving. The document also contains a hologram, OVI and tactile features at the front side. This European polycarbonate-made residence permit was first issued on June 10, 2020 and contains a contactless chip that complies with ICAO specifications.
