As a Business Analyst you will be sufficiently senior and confident to lead this function within the Keesing Product Management team.

This is a small team where you will have responsibilities across the business’ core IT services and products.

The team is responsible for the profitability and market relevance of Keesing products, where you will play a key role translating customer and partner market requirements into efficient IT solutions delivered by the Keesing technical team.

In this process you will drive the investigation into ways of realizing new or adaptations of existing systems/applications. You will have daily contact with the Keesing product and development teams, as well as regular contact with the business program and compliance managers. You will be responsible to propose, agree, and implement a set of BA processes that make a good fit for Keesing at this time, as well as taking the initiative to improve these as appropriate.

You will also be a responsible ambassador for the documentation and communication of what you do within the business.

Profile Candidate

Responsibilities & Tasks

• Be able to analyse and design (new) business processes, solutions directions, and implementation scenarios, which are needed to achieve the desired implementation changes within the established frameworks.
• Identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases – ideally creating a product “blue book” approach to support development planning and partner-based growth
• Perform information and impact analysis; assess the impact of prioritized changes on the IT related parts and records them.
• Participate within performance management of the designed solution
• Stakeholder management; prepares and coordinates advice in the form of Solution Advice with relevant stakeholders such as product owners, business consultants, architects, application consultants, key users etc.

Knowledge And Experience

• Minimal 4+ years of relevant experience (preferably a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or similar degree)
• Excellent communication skills: You master English and convey clear messages to stakeholders and developers.
• Experience in working in Agile environment
• Knowledge of a portfolio process, agile way of working (Kanban)
• Familiar with systems like Jira, Confluence etc.
• Experience with other functional areas e.g., testing, solution design etc.
• Excellent analytical skills to analyse multiple products and other business processes to form ideas and fix problems.
• Good research skills: Thorough research must be conducted about new processes and software to present results that are effective.
